DALLAS (April 25, 2019) – Next month, retailcomm and DICK’S Sporting Goods take the stage at Event Marketer’s Experiential Marketing Summit in Las Vegas, Nevada, giving an inside-look at the duo’s decade of thriving store community events.

The “ultimate training conference on the ultimate marketing discipline,” EMS brings together more than 1,800 marketers around the world to discuss trends, best practices and case studies in experiential marketing. Presenting speaker Matthew Cox, Vice President of Sales and Marketing – retailcomm, will share how this retail success story is leveraging a thoughtful blend of grand opening celebrations, athlete appearances, mobile tours and community events to drive consumer engagement.

Reebok, PepsiCo, Michaels and other major brands have seen similar triumphs with retailcomm’s experiential partnership.

“Many think that brick-and-mortar retail is a dying industry, but when you give customers a reason to walk into your store and an engaging way to experience your brand, you see high loyalty and return on investment,” said Cox.

Attendees will walk away from the EMS presentation with a practical understanding of how to think outside-the-box and create effective consumer engagement from small-scale to large-scale retail events.

Supplementing the Thursday morning presentation, retailcomm is also the title sponsor of EMS Morning Wellness sessions, including a 5k run and a women’s boot camp.
