Field Manager
(Dallas, TX)

retailcomm is seeking Dallas-based, high-performance, high-energy, physically fit, and outgoing experienced Field Managers to execute experiential marketing events throughout the nation. Events can include Grand Openings, Sponsorship Activations, Sports Marketing Events, Retail Experiences, CPG Events and more.

We are looking for leaders who are self-motivated for excellent on-site event activations, who are resilient to the demands of field work, and who have integrity. Field Managers who excel at this job are able to maintain positive attitudes and enthusiasm, both within themselves and the field team, regardless of changing dynamics.

Ideal candidates will have a flexible schedule and understand that their availability will dictate the amount of events for which they are booked. Working 10-20 events/weeks per year depending on availability, skillset, and attitude is possible. We reward strong performers and love building extraordinary teams.

This role could be local or fly-in-fly-out, depending on immediate needs within a specific market. Field Managers need to be comfortable with and available for nationwide travel.

Field Managers will have on-site communication with clients and a professional demeanor is a must. They will also have daily communication with a retailcomm Client Services Team Member leading up to the event and a Point-of-Contact during the event. Strong communication and collaboration is key. The retailcomm team is field-experienced and you will work with retailcommers who understand what it means to be in the field.

Responsibilities Can Include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing and coordinating all aspects of onsite field activities
  • Ensuring adherence to Run-of-Show
  • Providing real-time event updates when required
  • Managing a team of local brand ambassadors
  • Coordinating with local, third party vendors like outdoor décor installers, florists, or DJs
  • Providing support to onsite brand vendors
  • Managing athlete celebrity appearances
  • Managing door-busters, giveaways, and promotions, including contacting winners when needed
  • Setting-up and tearing-down tables, stanchions, and décor such as signs and wind banners
  • Setting-up and tearing-down larger production assets, tents, inflatables
  • Managing assets that are shipped to a hotel or the event location
  • Providing quality event photos and event reporting
