Account Director - Experiential
(Dallas, TX)

retailcomm is seeking an Account Director to direct and manage small to large-scale client programs and experiential events from concept phase through completion, including execution and final measurement. The Account Director will manage and mentor junior account staff.

This position is responsible for implementing strategies to achieve company goals and growth objectives and for maintaining and building business through successful client and account service and management. This is accomplished through both a leadership role and as a direct contributor.

The retailcomm Account Director is a unique person who must easily be able to split his or her time between office work while also being able to seamlessly switch over to an in-the-field role. This position is involved with a high degree of client interaction and must be able to juggle multiple priorities at once.

Primary Responsibilities  (including but not limited to):

  • Direct, manage, cultivate, maintain, and grow ongoing client relationships, accounts, and services
  • Direct, manage, train, and develop new and existing team members

Essential Requirements of the Job:

  • 6 – 10 years related experiential event and field experience required.
  • Applicants with a college degree preferred but not required.

Marketing Director

retailcomm is seeking a Marketing Director to lead both the creative team and efforts in company and client services creative. The Marketing Director will be a contributor and leader, driving projects to completion, focusing on building and executing an inbound marketing lead program and building and executing a social media strategy.

This position requires excellent communication skills and follow-through in addition to the ability to quickly grasp client and company needs and carry them out in creative concepts. This position will be involved in client service creative design (graphic production), and creative strategy, and will interact with multiple team members within the company across all levels. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead creative efforts for company-wide marketing programs, including but not limited to internal branding and inbound marketing (lead generation), digital marketing, social media strategy, press releases, advertisements, collateral, and more.

This position will also be responsible for training field staff on retailcomm performance standards and role responsibilities.

Previous experiential marketing and training experience is required, and recruiting experience is preferred. Excellent teamwork, communication, organization, schedule/time management, and follow-up skills are key components of this role.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Manage relationship with field staffing agency of record to be an effective shared resource for Client Service Teams while providing excellent service, collaboration, communication, and performance.
  • Follow up with candidates through email and phone communication, and conduct interviews via phone, video, or in-person (as needed).
  • Communicate event details, ensure understanding and commitment through written confirmation, on-board, and conduct basic training for field staff prior to events.
  • Communicate with the Account Team and management on staffing progress throughout the process.
  • Work with agency of record to maintain an up-to-date database of field staff candidates on software platform, including retailcomm event status and reviews.
  • Manage, cultivate, and maintain ongoing field staff relationships, ensuring the best possible staff is being contracted for retailcomm events.

This will include 3D event design, staging, and theming. Other duties include creating PowerPoint templates for programs, creating and maintaining 3D illustrative models to use in presentations, and maintaining organization of digital storage systems.
