trade areas, identified several new cities as home for its
food-centric shopping centers. Constructed in mixed-use
communities, Regency Centers sought to make its properties a
regular destination for weekday businesses and weekend shoppers
and to emphasize its community focus for each local area.

Our Solution

Each Grand Opening celebration hosted events geared toward Regency Center communities’ unique groups of shoppers. Family-friendly festivals and celebrity appearances anchored opening weekends, food-focused events led to weekday business traffic, and a month-long event plan drove consistent traffic beyond opening weekend.

To emphasize Regency Centers care for the local community, we partnered with Regency development teams to identify local organizations for funding. Ribbon cutting ceremonies included an oversized check presentation and donation, giving each organization meaningful funding and impactful media exposure.
